It surprises me that Patty is not in the BaseBallGame. She is a good player. Violet is not good at BaseBall. Perhaps, Patty is not in the BaseBallGame because Violet is not and they are best friends.

¡We have babies dying from Whooping Cough because of the stupid antivaccers!

The tradition of Violet Grey putting down Charlie Brown because his parents did not have the opportunity to attend University while both of her parents have University-Degrees begins.

Her attitude is better than the rampant anti-intellectualism in America, but not by much. People should strive to better themselves, but be humble. The government should also give all students with a GPA of 3.0 or better a free University-Education:

The greater taxes these University-Graduate would pay for the program many times over, and every in the country and the country as an whole would benefit.

We should also stop screwing our veterans out of the GI-Bill:

I used to be that if one server in the military and gets a general or honorable discharge, Uncle Sam would pay for a University-education. Dick Cheney, when he was Secretary of Defense under the first Bush added an whole bunch of hops through which our veterans must jump to collect the GI-Bill. Because of this, now, only about 30% of honorably dischared veterans qualify for the GI-Bill.

We should, henceforth, allow all veterans getting either general or honorable discharges to collect the GI-Bill. All veterans screwed out of the GI-Bill should be allowed to collect. We should also ban chickenhawks from public office, voting, or serving in the civil service:

We have brave soldiers defending this country. We have doves trying to maintain peace, or when conflicts arise, find a way to end them before to many people die. Then we have chickenhawks:

Chickenhawks are all for war, as long as somebody else does the fighting, killing, and dying. They are chickens when it comes to protecting themselves, but hawks with tye lives of others. Dick Cheney is a chickenhawk:

Dick Cheney was all for the war in Vietnam —— as long as someone else fought it. He refused to fight..

If we ban chickenhawks from political office, voting, and the civil service, that means that tens of millions of Young Republicans who were all for the War in Iraq, as long as someone else fought it, will disenfranchised. That is fine by me.

¡Doves and hawks are good, but chickenhawks are scum!

    ¡Leap-Day!

The formula for leap-years is wrong:

Leap-years occur on years divisible by 4 except century-years unless divisible by 400. This assumes that the tropical year is about 365.243 solar days. We now know that the tropical year is closer to 365.242 solar days. The formula should be:

    A leap-year is a year divisible by 4 except century-years unless divisible by 500.

In mine humble opinion, the year 2400 should not be a a leap-year, but 2500 should be a leap-year.

He only just becomes old enough to make friends.

    Probably more than now:

People like to remember pleasant things and forget unpleasant things. For this reason, people remember the past better than it was. Also, people not born in the 1950s, after watching Leave It T Beaver, which was pure escapistic fantasy, get the impression that everything was great.

The odds of becoming an homicide-victim now are lower now than at anytime in the 20th century. The homicide rate is only 40% of its peak in the 20th century. Generally, the homicide-rate shows the greatest improvement where it was worst:

¡The homicide-rate in New York City, New York is only 20% of its peak in the 20th century!

In less than 14 years, Apollo 10 will go to the Moon. The Lunar Module will be Snoopy. The Command/Service-Module will be Charlie Brown. Unfortunately, Apollo 10 will be a dress-rehearsal; so, Snoopy never landed on the Moon.

The crew of Apollo 10 launched Snoopy into Solar Orbit. Perhaps, someday, we shall recover Snoopy. In the mean-time, Snoopy orbits the Sun.
