I am a happily married mom and very proud of my three babies - my oldest - a US Marine. I am a huge C&H fan, but often torture myself by reading editorials - for fun...?

So, who is playing the blame game here? Why should we expect a candidate to be able to handle a challenge, personal opinions, unfair circumstances or even a difficult situation?

Okay, sure – they pass on the burden and still make a huge profits and big bonuses and then then dodge their responsiblity with loopholes and tax tricks OR get bailed out when they are in trouble. Does that make it right? I don’t like the fair tax because according to my understanding it would put a burden on the human people making more than 30k and less than 200k. That means the poor-er people would be paying more than they are now for overpriced everything, plus the state taxes. How is that affordable under the current circumstances? How is that fair? Plus, do we really trust greedy corporations to drop prices to true pretax cost? I don’t think so. And the other question is… can we trust the government to control spending to keep the tax fixed? I don’t think so.

What is wrong with wanting the laws to be written by elects who are not being bribed by the elites to write them? What is wrong with expecting successful money making corporations to pay some income taxes to help their economy crashing country"? http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-many-companies-pay-no-income-taxes-study-finds-20111103,0,5650434.story

Seriously – this should be an easy one: Can we ALL (Left and Right) come together and admit that the 15% Capital Gains tax is way too low…? Wouldn’t this be an easy place to increase revenues? …. Or do you really think The Richie Richies are really “entiltled” to that kind of easy money?
