Hi all! Remember when I took those 3 weeks off to help produce that game show in Ireland? Well, it’s called “The Floor,” and the second season drops tonight (9/25) on Fox at 9ET/8CT, if you care to check it out. (BTW, I’m also the judge behind the scenes hitting the dings and buzzers for right and wrong answers, which was pretty intense).
Greetings, That Is Priceless fans! You may remember that last year at this time I did about two weeks of repeats because I was working on the new Fox game show “The Floor.” Well, we’re back for another season, so I’m going to have to go to the repeats again. And this time for 3 weeks! I apologize for the encore material, but I tried to select ones that I would enjoy re-visiting, and I would hope by now our tastes our at least SOMEwhat similar.
Mabrndt’s suspicions are correct. I am in fact balancing the strip with my current job, which is helping produce the Fox game show “The Floor” (the same show I worked on last year around this time). We’re on a very tight schedule and many of our days go until 11 p.m. or later, which explains the late posts. I’ve thought about putting them on a timer, but that requires having them ready to go ahead of time, which has been difficult due to the time crunch, so I hope you can bear with me.
Like last year, we’ll be shooting the show in Ireland, and I plan to do what I did before and post repeats while I’m gone. Unfortunately, this year that will be for 3 weeks instead of 2, from approximately July 20 thru August 10. But after that, I should be able to get right back at it!

Reminds me a bit of Paul Fischer, whose work I’ve used several times here. He’s also big on the “nude woman casually interacting with the clothed woman” thing. Because that’s how most women naturally interact.
Yes, rmremail, it seems to be a theme with Monsieur D’Espagnat. When I stumbled across the first, the second came up as well. Did not see a third, however, so maybe the offender finally got the message.
Hi all! How’s this for an excuse? For some reason I went through all of yesterday thinking it was Friday, so it didn’t even occur to me to post last night. Apologies! Hi, Sol. To answer your question, yes, it was pure coincidence that this ended up here again on its 10th anniversary. In fact, I hadn’t even noticed that until mabrndt brought your comment to my attention. As I sometimes do, I chose this Throwback by doing a random search through the GC archive, so it was truly a matter of happenstance. BTW, the reason some of the earlier GC posts have a different date from the blog is because when I first started on GC, I was working from a huge backlog of blog material. Posting 7 days a week back then, I eventually caught up and now (mostly) post the same thing on both the same day.
