I’m going to play devil’s advocate here. Maybe Bernice is simply SCARED. She relaxes in Luann’s company because she feels safe and accepted with her. When she has to venture into the real world she’s not quite sure how to deal with people – she’s probably been criticized and put down a lot – so she goes to her safe place – books.

For all the folks saying “let him find other accommodations”. The guy has already proven in the past that he’s irresponsible. I know lots of people who sadly “inherit” their grandchildren, nieces, nephews because the PARENTS are incompetent. I honestly think it’s going to end up someday with Jonah getting killed and Brad and Toni becoming THE PARENTS …

    Hopefully she moved back home!

Good idea to get outside your “comfort zone” every once in a while.

Too often we focus on our DIFFERENCES instead of how much we all do have in common. :)

There is no life I know to compare with pure imagination … (Willy Wonka). Living there you’ll be free, if you truly wish to be. Go Shannon!

This has been around forever – branding. People have been asked about their interests, their hobbies, family, morning or night person, etc, etc — all the data is compiled and a list is generated about what types of work might be most suitable for them.

Seems like they already have a built-in babysitter / cook / etc.

Toni is being realistic. Starting with birth at a hospital (and yes insurance should cover most of it), you’re looking at about $10,000 these days. Babies are cute, but they come with a big price tag. According to a US Department of Agriculture report, the average middle-income family spends between $12,000 and $14,000 on child-related expenses each year.1 For newborns, the cost is higher. Some studies show numbers ranging from $20,000 to $50,000 for the child’s first year of life, depending on location and household income.

I’ve always loved books – even when I had to have someone else read them TO me. And why did they become friends? OPPOSITES ATTRACT! lol.
