One of Chester Gould’s favorite sayings when referring to criminals was “Non compos mentis”. His criminals were supremely stupid, supremely arrogant, or both. In this case, a little of the first and a whole lot of the second. My son was a corrections officer, and his favorite saying was, “criminals aren’t in prison because they’re smart.”
More like ‘Nerdsplaining’.
