I’ve never understood the general public’s belief that they have a right to a restroom wherever they go. Just because it’s a public place, doesn’t mean people have a claim to use a bathroom otherwise marked for employees only. Many of you people who are commenting about threatening to use the restroom wherever you like if they don’t allow access must never have seen what the general public does to public restrooms. I would likely guess, and probably be right, that many places not allowing public access to restrooms have had horror stories of customers leaving their facilities a complete and utter mess. To compare, this would be like me driving down the road, really having to go, and pulling over in front of your house and asking to use your bathroom. I would guess that many of you would not allow it.
