   Back as an 18-year old at Ft. Dix, a bartender answered that same statement with “You come back with a CIB and I’ll BUY you a beer. Now go back to NY where 18 is legal !” (CIB= Combat Infantry Badge with Laurel, meant you’d been “under fire” situations, like Korea, fer instance)
