   I find nothing funny about politics. The winner affects my well being, taxes, local city planning, infrastructure, freedom, etc. Unfortunately, the incompetent, and persons with personal agendas and predjudices win. Then there are people like Hillary who promised she would take the phone call at 3 am; but when the call came from Benghazi, she didn’t.

   You are not an old Kermudgen. Watch some of the old Carson show. They were timelessly funny and interesting. The early Leno was good, but at the end he had his wings clipped. Colbert, he’s a stooge for the Dems. Fallon, funny but not interesting. Letterman, he’s better as a stand up comedian than a talk show host. Kimmel, ehh.

   We recently went on vacation. The dish went out 8 times during a storm when power momentarily flickered. It takes 10 min to reprogram each time. And during the eigth inning of the World Series. It was out for hours due to heavy rain.

   Russia got sucked into Syria because they loaned money to Syria and wanted to protect its investment. Now, its bad investment has multiplied many times over. They should just write it off and get out.

   I used to feel that failed writers wrote religious training materials. After that, I learned that really bad failed writers wrote computer training manuals. Oops. You don’t have computer training manuals any longer.

   I compare Syria pullout with Vietnam. Trump is doing what LBJ and Nixon should have done. Vietnam was a civil war that we shouldn’t have become involved with.

    The days of shoe bombers, hijacked flights and 9/11 seem to be long gone. I appreciate that.
