This was posted by Tommy and Sophie’s Woman on Facebook:
“Miss Sophie Ann was found as a kitten with her litter mates outside in CT. All had bad eye infections which is common for kittens outdoors, everyone recovered except for Sophie – only one of her eyes healed properly and the other never did. For whatever reason the eye was not removed.She did not come to live with us until she was already 6 years old. By then she had already lived a pretty rough life and we/her new vet felt that since they eye didn’t bother her it was fine to leave it as is.”
The original post is much longer, giving more of Sophie’s history, but this is the story of her blind eye.
