It’s a rare day I agree with you, Andy, but here it’s 100%. You’d think that expediency alone would be enough to encourage conservation, seeing as how we’re deriving so many medicines and other useful compounds from chemicals some animals create naturally, but even that doesn’t stop some from blindly destroying nature’s gifts out of pure hubris.
Republicans aren’t actually interested in ending illegal immigration; too many of their business-owning donors hire illegals. Instead, it’s always been about stigmatizing the illegals so that they don’t report abuses committed against them.
