Really? She’s at least 18 and she knows the rules. Strangers are not allowed on school grounds without checking in at the office. That’s a real no no these days. It doesn’t matter whether you know the person or not. It’s just too dangerous and the school become liable if anything happens. Luann is very immature… and a lot of that falls on her parents. It’s fun for the cartoonist but I see the news. Bad idea.
Mainly because she needs to learn how to say “no”. She’s in this mess because she couldn’t tell Tara to keep moving, I’m at work, and the rules state that strangers cannot be on school grounds without checking into the office.
Diagraming is the best way to teach the parts of speech. My students loved it… but that was in the early 70’s. They had really large chalk boards in all the classrooms and we would have fun creating the longest sentences. We also liked learning prepositions with our preposition mountain. Those days are gone. Maybe it’s better now.. I don’t know.
… or, you could take the bat, pop him with it and then ask him how it felt. I’m guessing he would then realize it’s not funny and that for every action, there is a reaction… one that you may not like. Yeah, I know, child abuse, yada yada yada
Pull yourself together, you obviously are quite young or have been hurt by someone. They’ll be fine. Gunther is not a leader and he naturally gravitates to someone who is. They’ll be fine.
You can put it anywhere there’s room for it to open out. Most people will assume its some sort of closet or set of drawers. I think it’s a plus when selling a home.
I would have slapped that phone out of his hands and told him he’d better be ready and standing at the door 5 minutes before his ride got there. Pitiful cream puff parenting. That’s why kids are moving back home. The parents don’t want them to be independent.
I guess I meant the continuous rescuing. Advice is one thing but at some point responsibility needs to kick in.
