She didn’t get fired for being a “pushy” women. Come on Matt. Keep abreast of the current "story’ by reading the NY Times. I generally LOVE your ‘toon however on this one you’re off base.
Who would have ever thought a company covering up a product defect that killed people. At over 50 years old I never thought I’d see this day where one did (snark snark). It’s been going on for years boys and girls. I’m offended like most however not shocked.
Geez folks?!? What’s the big deal with “big data”?!? It’s not like they’re getting your log-in’s to various financial websites you visit. No body’s making you do anything with the collected data.
Love your comment. Reasonably new to the site? Enoki’s been good at that stuff for awhile now :-) Its due for a really silly comment soon as this is just run-of-the-mill :-)
Uuuuuhhh…how about the legs have come out from under his “political support”. It’s probably just me however that’s what I see not a fat joke (which may apply as well).
I’m sure you’ve been following the Twist Twistie stories in the NY Times over the past few years. A perfect example of looking good from afar however upon closer inspection…
CC is such a hypocrite. I started to soften a bit after the Obama embrace however the reason for that became quickly apparent. Politically expedient!
The lane closings was nothing compared to the halfway house scandal in NJ. THAT’s disgusting!!!!!!!
Frankly I believe there should be term limits for ALL elected officials. Can you imagine if parents had to be elected/reelected by their children?!? The first time little Jonny came home late one night and was grounded for a week his parents wouldn’t get “reelected” again. Ma & Pa let lil Missy see that boy ‘cause we want to continue to be her parents. Politicians and the electorate behave the same way. Politicians of all strips never make the tough decisions because they don’t want the electorate (or special interest groups) to throw a hissy fit and throw them out of the office. I’m certainly a proponent of government involvement in society. Think about what life would be like without police and traffic regulations for starters. That said, some of the “benefits” lawmakers create, and I’m using the definition of “benefits” very loosely here, in my opinion, are done to please a particular demographic so they can get elected/reelected. Take away the need to “please” the electorate during every election cycle and I’d bet my house we’d start seeing more responsible legislation.
To counter the polar vortex he could always start flapping his lips to produce some hot air (as if you have to ASK him to talk). As the great philosopher Shrek once said, getting him to talk isn’t the problem…it’s getting him to SHUT UP that’s the challenge.
