I was five years old and I was quite upset because the Saturday morning cartoons were preempted by all the TV coverage of the assassination. It was years later before I understood what happened.
I have always refused to pay a cable bill. If I can’t watch it over the air or a free streaming service or the one inexpensive service I have then I can live without it.
I tried to tell my family we would celebrate orthodox Christmas. Since it occurs in early January we could save by going to after Christmas sales. It didn’t go over well.
I love the old CRT TV. (Cathode ray tube, that is)
