“Kinda left hanging” describes about half the story lines.

Getting a degree is the first step. Getting hired is the second step and having your work respected by your boss and coworkers is the third step. Maybe the odds of achieving the other two steps are discouraging females from taking the first step.

She has dabbled in 3 of those things, acting in West Side Story, writing and teaching preschool.

I’d like to see one where they don’t drop the story line just when it really gets interesting.

Thanks! You can find it on U Tube under the name Carole Athena Costa. I tried to post the link but was unsuccessful.

A song I wrote about my daughter:

    Someone Seventeen

    You think I have forgotten

What it’s like to be your age

But you’ve never even been mine

    That’s still an empty page

You think you know the answers

To the problems that I’ve seen

But you’ve never been a parent

    But I’ve been seventeen

I do remember all too well

    My youth and ever since

The things I thought and said and did

Still make me want to wince

I grew up but not fast enough

    You’ll find what I mean

    When you become a parent

    Of someone seventeen

Every time I try to reach you

    You laugh at my concern

I can only try to teach you

But I can’t make you learn

So keep these things I said in mind

    And try not to forget

You’ll find your folks get wiser

    The older that you get

And when you say them to your kids

They won’t know what you mean

    Until they are the parent

    Of someone seventeen
