   A ride around the Daytona track and posing for a few photos, and doing a flyby of said track first, seems like quite a waste of money to me. We the taxpayers will pay for that. Bet Musk won’t cut that waste out!

   As a premium member I received an email regarding the rate increase. Since we’re already members the first year will go up to $19.99 (I had a grandfathered rate of $14.99.) The years after will be at $34.99. That’s less than $3.00 a month, worth it for me with the number of comics I read, but I will reassess when that subscription comes up again.

   Our refrigerator beeps to let us know that the power went out. Touch a button and it stops beeping. It was annoying the first time we heard it, wondering what the sound was and where was it coming from?

   We had a small outage several hours after our last storm. Luckily, it only lasted ten minutes.

   I am also in NH and it’s 4:57 p.m. GMT. The snow is currently taking a break but expected to start back up in the next hour. It is 25°F but feels like 10°F. My weather app says we had over 4.6 inches in the last 6 hours. We have another 5 – 6 inches to go within the next 24! Thankfully we have a neighbor willing to plow our driveway. Our snowblower just had to be dropped off at a repair shop yesterday…

   (Thankfully, it looks as if the storm we were expecting later this week isn’t coming now. Crossing my fingers!)

   We are rarely that far north here in NH. We have been on US 2 within the last year, though. It was April 8, 2024 and we used it to get to Lancaster, NH to view the total eclipse of the sun.
