Simple. Just learn the whole dictionary.

Like ‘kitchen’. Knowing the phonetics is half the fun. I’m much sharper at 61 than I was as a child. The root word, ‘kit’-suffix, ‘chen’ (meaning to cook)

This was my dilemma. In school no one took the time to teach me phonetics, or I was to dull from my circumstances, I would ask how to spell a word and was told to look it up but I didn’t know how to spell it. My school career was soaked in tears. I spent most of the time staring into space, disengaged from life, my teachers called it ‘daydreaming’.

I’m an introvert who goes out of her way to be invisible but I hate being spoken over, for instance when someone replies for me as if I’m not there or thanks someone for saying Happy Birthday on my customised post, I made with love and care, and the recipient thanks that person for their comment but not me for the post.
