We have a few bird feeders, but the best are the three that are mounted to our bay windows. Great fun watching their antics, the little guys don’t like to share and they have fist fights. Then the Blue Jays or Cardinals come in and they just let their size push the others out.
I agree with nosirrom and have to add Barney Miller.
That totally depends on what time it is. During prep and serve time it may or may not be. Otherwise it’s probably not. If you are coming to visit, I only ask for fair warning.
Well, I am reasonably normal, which means that there is a breaking point. I’m not especially proud of of that fact, but when I look back at some of the over the top moments, I get a good laugh.
The Dead even made a song about my life, “what a long strange trip it’s been”.
We have 3 feeders on the dining room windows. One filled with a seed mix and the others with sunflower seed. It is very entertaining most of the time as most of the birds don’t share space well. The cardinals just look tough and scare the others away, but the little birds essentially have fist fights. Great fun to watch, they do all seem to get their fill and move on till hunger hits again.
In my career as a traveling tech, people wanted me to be on site the instant they called for help. I’ve long since retired but I still try to be early at whatever function. Sometimes that is not appreciated.
I had a short stint in high school where I got to run with the smart kids. I don’t believe it made me cool, but I enjoyed that time. Now, here in real life I am cool as I turn the furnace off when we go to bed and back on when I arise. I remember my dad’s words, “If you’re cold, go put a sweater on!”
Nah. I am finally old enough to not care about much. Therefore my days stay in a pleasant rut. Up at 5:30ish, lunch at noonish, nap at 2:00ish and off to the land of nod at 10:00 ish. No time for being tired, I’m just bored.
