He has yet to give a logical and coherent answer on how so-called “redistribution of wealth” is wrong, or even what exactly he means by it. I’m getting the impression it’s one of those buzz terms that he hopes will end a conversation but it only raises more questions while answering nothing.
Do mean like when the taxpayer-funded Secret Service was charged by Trump’s golf resorts for all the times they had to guard Trump went on his weekend trips that they went into dire financial straits? Or when the government shutdown pushed by Republicans under Trump’s watch cost the nation $11 billion in taxpayer money?
Ebenezer Scrooge “worked” as something of a money lender with high interest rates while being so stingy with money that he wouldn’t bother to pay to heat his counting house properly or pay his employee Bob Crachit enough money for he and his family to eat decently, despite the fact that Bob had an ill and disabled son. No one liked Scrooge because he was so selfish and willing to hurt people financially. It was a lesson about helping those in need and finding actual happiness in selflessness.
