Me neither! Nil is her biggest hope of rehumanizing.

They caved, paving the way for many manipulations in the future.

And just like that a master manipulator can make everyone in her presence (yet not outside observers) forget everything except that they made her cry. One always thinks that one is immune, until actually in the same room as the MM. It’s scary how they manage to do that. I have worked long and hard to remove all such people from my life.

Because they’re too young to have shed the social conditioning that females are supposed to please everybody all the time—a process that takes quite a few years and collisions with reality to work through. Of course there’s always the occasional brat like Stef who figures out how to work it from an early age, to turn it around to make others feel guilty for not always pleasing her.

Dickering and conniving could be fun.

I’m probably posting too late to be read, but it might make more sense to rotate regularly through all four roommates, each getting a day in turn, with the option of said roommate selling or swapping their day to someone else. Dez could count on getting her Yoga every 4 days, which is a reasonable spacing of exercise. Bets could get a fair amount of Gunther time and will probably choose to sell those days when she meets with Gunther somewhere else. Tiffany can profit from selling her days to Stef because what she really wants private is her room. Stef can come up for air.

I think you nailed it, Dave. She’s trying to get pregnant so he’ll have to marry her. She seems to be that sort of person. But not everyone believes in that “have to”—does Kip?
