   As a left wing liberal I’m going to vehemently disagree with you on that. I personally don’t believe in banning much, whether it’s a far-right speaker at Stamford University, or Abby Hoffman preaching to the far left (yes, both old examples, but they leapt to mind). Speech or writings that promote violence and hate are a real problem for me personally, but I try to keep in mind that Freedom of Expression only EVER means anything when it applies to things you disagree with – otherwise it should just be called “the freedom to agree with me,” which is hardly the same thing. This is something I wish more republican’ts understood. I do think we’ve exhausted our particular conversation here, don’t you? Respond if you would like, but let’s let others continue the debate, I need more coffee…
