    Those vulnerabilities identified by the studies you mention could only be exploited by direct physical connection to the individual machine in question. It would not affect the tens of thousands of machines that were in use unless there was a massive effort to physically manipulate each one.     Despite whatever you may think about the seriousness of trump’s injury, whether it was cause by a bullet or by flying debris, I think it would be a grave mistake to minimize what was still an assassination attempt. No matter what your politics are, this was completely unacceptable. Please don’t lose sight of that.
