I used to work in record stores; this reminds me of the Crusin’ series of albums of music from different years, from the 50s through the 60s. The covers told the story of two kids from the period growing up, graduating high school, going to war, etc.
At the high school where I worked, I used to show up for the homecoming game with my bagpipes, and my face in blue paint ala “Braveheart.” (Fortunately, our school colors were blue and white.) I always told people that there was nothing wrong with having a furry, blue-faced Scot piper on your side.
I realize this is Peanuts, but since we’re on the subject, GoComics needs to update its files to run more than the same old story arcs from Lil’ Abner.
