   I couldn’t agree more. Ice cream is one of my weaknesses and I’ve always thought the ice cream cone was the best ecological invention ever. After you eat the food you eat the container. Wouldn’t it be great to replace paper/Styrofoam plates & bowls with something eatable?

   I could not agree more. I worked for the DOD and had a male and later a female supervisor that knew the job forwards and backwards because they ‘grew up’ in the office and learned how things were supposed to be done. Morale was high and everyone in the office worked together as a family. .When the female supervisor retired everyone in the office that applied qualified for the job and had 20+ years experience in the office. However the director’s secretary did not qualify. The job announcement was closed and the job description was rewritten to include qualifications that had nothing to do with the job. She qualified and became the supervisor not knowing the first thing about the workings of the office. We did the work, she got the pay. Morale plummeted and the office lost its credibility. We old timers are now retired and she left soon after but the office was forever changed.
