   Yes, I am aware of the challenging parental / spousal relationships certain commenters have shared (directly or indirectly). However, my comment pertains to people who are obviously intelligent individuals and yet seem to delight in trashing this comic, its characters and its creator. That’s not a “cry for sympathy and understanding.” It’s meanness. I fail to see how spitefully spewing one’s misery onto others makes one feel better.

   FBOFW is one of the best comic strips ever written, and unfortunately has some of the worst commentators. You know who you are. I am amazed at the negativity certain people bring to every single storyline and / or character. I’m just thankful I don’t have to deal with those poisonous people in real life.

   “Get to the point.” That’s rich, considering that storylines in this comic strip move at a glacial pace. Glad to see that JimS finally remembers who and what “Gasoline Alley” is all about, but I’m sure the talking animals will show up any day now and knock this arc off the rails yet again. For anyone who still remembers and loves the original GA, its timeless artwork and wonderful characters, look for us on Facebook by searching “Gasoline Alley Cats.”
