The problem is the Republicans who control Congress are working hard to enable him. Our system of checks and balances ain’t worth the paper the Constitution is printed on if those in control of one branch of government not only refuse to be that check and balance, but actively put their dirty little fingers on the scale to tilt it toward the would-be autocrat. We need to work hard to make sure those smug slime buckets are voted out of office come November and install people who will actually do the job they’ve been elected to do.

Heck, we just witnessed a North Korean defector make it across the entire DMZ there.
Keep in mind that this is men with power, who until recently were able to use that power to keep from being called to account, meanwhile ruining the lives of those they assaulted in a whole lot of ways.
A single family (even if it is large) does not an entire state make.
Such is the rank hypocrisy and out-and-out moral bankruptcy of the conservative movement these days.
While conservatives have been circling the wagons around anyone considered one of their own. One quote from Facebook i saw literally said “I’d rather vote for a pedophile than a Democrat.”
It’s also the case that liberals have been calling for anyone accused of this wrongdoing to be brought to account, whether liberal (Weinstein, Franken) or conservative (Moore, apparently just about every male at Fox News, etc.).
What’s with the spamming Hendon is doing of threads with these statistics? Is it a Russian bot trying to establish credibility for future propaganda campaigns?
