    Well played ù, there.

Not really part of their “nature” as you call it; society makes it so. (Fwiw, I’m an older woman and I don’t care. Cue the poem “Warning.”)

I can make change without a calculator, but never heard the expression “sounding the dollar” and can’t find a definition on the interwebs. (It’s probably how I make change, but with a name I never heard.) Explain, please?

Escargot once…it was fine. Didn’t need to try again. Kale is okay if chopped up small enough, and Brussels sprouts are delicious sautéed/browned with bacon, onions and balsamic. Yummy! I hated Brussels sprouts as a kid because mom served them boiled, but I’ve tried them prepped this way and love them.

What amazes me is that Daryl has TWO red haired children even though Wanda’s hair is pitch black. In the multiple-red haired families I’ve seen both parents have red and/or lighter colored hair.

Genes are random, and recessive genes even more so. My red hair came from a grandparent on one side and a great-grandparent on the other. No milkman needed.

In my marriage it’s the opposite. I have no problem asking for help; husband would rather leave the store empty-handed than ask.
