This morning he had put the hose out again, watering the sidewalk. But when he came out to walk his own dog, he turned it off. How oblivious can you get?

    From your link:

“The progressive tax system – In this tax system, a high tax rate is charged on high-income earners while the low-income earners are charged a lower tax rate. The progressive tax system is used in most countries, including the United States, and it is considered a more just tax system.”

“House Republicans have rallied around Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) as a successor to embattled Conference Chair Rep. Liz Cheney—who has been criticized for her lack of loyalty to former President Donald Trump, the party’s so-called leader —though data shows Stefanik voted less with Trump during his tenure than Cheney did.”

“From 2017-2021, Cheney voted in line with Trump’s position 92.9% of the time, according to FiveThirtyEight’s tracker, while Stefanik voted with the former president just 77.7% of the time.”

A flat tax puts MORE of the tax burden on middle and lower income tax groups. A fair tax would be good except for the lobbyists paid for by the wealthy and the tax prep companies.

There are warehouses bursting at the seams. But companies don’t want to pay truckers upfront because they are “independent contractors”. The companies set-up the “just in time” mode of shipping that doesn’t support a supply chain unless it works “perfectly” which means that the workers have to always be available and willing to work for peanuts.

Colin Powell had suggested that HRC use a private email server. Trump and his family used private email servers PLUS private accounts and burner phones.

HRC testified under oath for 11 hours. There were 10 Benghazi investigations, including one that Kevin McCarthy crowed about it hurting HRC’s poll numbers – we paid MILLIONS for those repeated investigations that all came to the same conclusions of NOTHING. Trump pleaded the fifth.

So what is the “interchangeable” part?

The IRS was limited by cutting their funding for far too long. They ended up going after “low-hanging fruit” by auditing those that didn’t have high-paid accountants and lawyers so they could get some money (much of it from honest mistakes). Gorrell, what cheating have you done on YOUR taxes

For some reason, LEOs will vote for politicians that are anti-union because they foolishly believe that those politicians LOVE the police and won’t hurt THEIR union.

Guess they never heard or read this:

BTW, my spouse is retired LEO and he did try to explain this to them often without much success.

Melania broke the law when she worked as a nude model on a travel-only visa. Her parents received a special waiver to come to U.S. and get immediate citizenship. Trump has ALWAYS hired plenty of illegals at ALL of his properties. This includes the Polish construction workers that he never paid.

My neighbor turns his hose on and waters the sidewalk as much as the grass. Plenty of people in the neighborhood walk dogs and/or have babies in strollers. Often he turns the hose on and leaves in his car, and the hose has been on for HOURS. Lately I’ve started turning the hose off when I see him do this; even his guests and our disabled neighbor have had to walk in the street because he is so ignorant.
