My dentist of many years retired about a year ago. After he left, a hygienist told me that a primary reason for his leaving is that the years of being hunched over patients had taken a bad toll on his back.
Until that moment, it never occurred to me that a medical profession also had a physical price to pay. Blind of me, I guess.
I like sports to a degree, but I am not all that much consumed by it, even though I played sports all through school.
I think that, for many of us, it’s an amusement, a diversion. We all need some form of entertainment.
My entertainment, for example, is this forum. I also like to read several political sites that represent all sides of the spectrum, but I do not participate in any conversations.
I also walk at least three miles a day.
PS: I will watch the OU Bobcats at noon today, but, if they lose, it will not change my mood for even a second.
Thanks. To me, six years is still a long time to be creative. I have been called creative, and I know that I am nowhere near this level.
