I'm getting older than I care to think about, but, I'm still a kid, at heart. I don't take life seriously... there are enough people out there to do that in my stead. Don't not do something, because you think you're too old. I got my black belt at 50 yrs old, and now, in my early 60's, I am working toward my 2nd degree. "Never, say 'never.' "

Okay, that made me laugh (I hope it was supposed to!)! Great job!

  2. 1 day ago on Pickles

Well-said, Lady. Those that do “get us,” we appreciate that much more!

Are we related? I have that same issue… 30 years at one company, and I have one friend, and 23 years at my current job, and I don’t have any.

In a case like that, I do believe, I’d take my chances!

Maybe, Adam should “grow a pair,” where his kids are concerned, and tell them he wanted turkey, so HE bought turkey. If they want those other things, go out, and buy them, themselves, and they can have them, but being the alleged parent, he is under no obligation to kowtow to them.

I’m glad I only saw the back cover of that card!

That probably tends to make antagonists (or potential ones) behave around you smirk

Welllll, I would say, when it concerns Lucy, and/or Violet, let the “gloves come off,” and go for it!

Ironically, only a good gemologist can really tell the difference between a CZ, and a diamond. The CZ doesn’t show impurities, like carbon, but, it will scratch glass, and, generally, the only way to differentiate between the 2, is to weigh them. The CZ is denser, and a stone the same size as a diamond, is actually heavier.

I shouldn’t read these, when I’m tired… this one took me a couple of minutes to figure out, until I read the categories, behind her.I didn’t see his hands, gripping each side of the card!
