Hi Will—first of all, thanks for everything—Wallace and co. can make even the dimmest day brighter. Now for my question—what do you think of the fan theory that Spud and Kevin from Cul de Sac (the buckethead) are distant cousins?
I just checked—it’s on several services, including Pluto and Roku—so you don’t have to pay to watch it. If you have Prime, it’s also there, but of course that’s a subscription streamer.
It’s fantastic. Tim Roth and Gary Oldman, and written and directed by Tom Stoppard (adapted from his play). The tennis scene alone is worth the price of admission. It’s an absurdist, philosophical masterpiece.
If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend the movie ‘Knights of Bada**dom’, a horror comedy (more comedy than horror) set in the LARPing community. It stars Steve Zahn, Peter Dinklage, Summer Glau, and Danny Pudi, among others. It’s bloody awesome. (See what I did there?)
I used to have a tape of Abbot & Costello routines…another one had Abbot talking about buying a new house. Abbot: “It’s in Escrow right now.” Costello: “In Escrow? Well, how are you gonna get it out?”
