Phil is a classmate of Riley’s. In one comic strip Phil is terrified of Riley just by sitting near him; I think that’s in the future of this run. Phil was in a couple cartoon episodes, one being The Fundraiser where he was temporarily a member of Riley’s gang before getting scared off.
Like I mentioned on April 22. The last season of the cartoon would have been a lot better if they just used some of the comic strip arcs, like Granddad taking a job as a census worker.
In the famous “yellow sump, Marie” comic, Pig confirms that Goat and Zebra each have their own house nearby, and in many other strips the Crocs live next to Zebra. I’ve always pictured them living on the same block.
