   The cost of running a state is there regardless of how they collect their revenue. Income tax is just the easiest way to collect from the majority of us who can’t hide their income.

   Why would NORAD be a target? That would be wasted ammo, as their purpose has already been served. IE, warning. Same with missile silos, they would be empty when the other side hit them. But a full scale military attack isn’t this countries worst threat anyhow. It’s our belief that we are the greatest nation on the planet, and have some God given right to impose our will on all the rest.
