RE: “He has Mr. Otterloop’s nose”

Come to think of it , the same shiny pate, same number of hairs on his head, (though being younger, the distribution pattern is wider, as he ages it will become smaller….)

Mr. Otterloop’s beady eyes…strange nasal “notches” – not quite nostrils…ear shape, general morphology and build…are we sure he isn’t an Otterloop?

Has Mr. Otterloop spent time in the neighbor’s hen house? Mr. Otterloop does not have Dill’s eyebrows, but Alice does.

Billy’s on the bottom, Johnny’s in the middle, and Tony is on the top, there are six feet, not sure about number 7.

I was more freaked out by the other guy’s ears, looks like they got set-back to his neck-or somebody used them as pistol grips. Then I saw his team mates suffer the same malady.

It’s like a miniature Mutual of Omaha’s the Wild Kingdom .

Wallace ( Marlin Perkins ) is our host telling us about the habitat, while Spud ( Jim Fowler ) circumcises a water buffalo while he wrestles a mammoth anaconda.

We are looking at the glass and PVC options too, but it has taken longer than I hoped.

I had a work window where all the techs were available to work on this at once. Now I have to defer some of it-since they are working on the Aircraft Interiors Show Display for Hamburg in May.

UPS actually put in a claim for me, as they said it was due to flooding in the warehouse, that caused the damage. Apparently, a lot of parcels were damaged due to the rain.

US Plastics and Certified Thermoplastics are my 1:2 for this kind of stuff. McMaster Carr was because we could “Will Call” and pick them up. Certified Thermoplastics says they will work with the shipper and no cost for replacement, but 6-8 weeks is the best timing they have.

    Project Uplift Frodo

The Plexiglass tubes were a bust. I see why UPS rerouted them.

Literally, the seven-foot long box, the last foot or so was crushed going from 40" height down to 20" height. And cracks going almost half the length of the tubes inside the box. I think they ran over the end of the box with a truck or something.

They also put the 5.5" ID tubes inside the 6.25" ID tubes, so all of them got busted.

Talking to the Plastics company for replacement. We are also looking to see if we can find either glass or clear PVC Pipe alternatives. McMaster Carr has acrylic tubes, might need to update the size, but they are really pricey at $106 per foot length. At this price Glass might be cheaper way to go.

The Plastics Supplier wanted $60/six foot length – so I hope their lead time works for a replacement set.

I’ve been told there may have been water damage at the HB warehouse, and that packages were diverted to Downey, to be inspected. New tentative delivery date is Saturday, Feb. 10-but there is a disclaimer that it may be 2-7 days later for some parcels.

I’m not in any danger of the storms. North of us, LA has been having a harder time than we have here in North Orange County. It has rained consistently, but it goes from light to heavy, and back to light rain.

Here we are at 7 inches of rain for the rain year. Our annual rain fall is 13.7" of rain, so about halfway there.

LA Downtown is at 17 inches of rain for the rain year. Annual Rainfall at LA downtown is 11.3 inches for a year – way ahead.
