I’ve met Colin Baker, the Sixth Doctor. I even have a picture with him & Nicola Bryant, his co-star (Peri). He signed a picture of the event. The original was my eldest daughter’s Christmas present. I have now a scanned copy. I met more Doctor Who actors that weekend.
I think you’ve got that reversed, mate. I was taking a federal call from someone. They gave their city as Cambridge, MA. I said, “Ah! The Colonial Cambridge.” The caller did not disbute the comment.
My usual bit is ‘I wouldn’t touch that with a ten-foot St. John Paul II’. Due to the fact most people would not know the name of my Polish daughter.
