Glad to hear you’re recovering well . Keep up with that PT, even if its boring – you’ll think its not helping for a while and then all of a sudden you’ll notice how much difference it has made. Can’t wait to join you on this long walk down memory lane :)
Another tool in everyone’s grooming arsenal should be a “matt splitter” – its a credit card shaped piece of plastic with a slit cut into it, and inside the slit there’s a blade (its kind of hard to describe, you can get them on amazon) – just slip the matt into slit and slice right through it as close to the base as you can. Great for critters that throw a strop at scissors and clippers, because it makes basically no noise – plus it doesn’t pull on their skin like a comb would.
They’re only about five bucks a pop, so we invested in a few and we keep them in any place a critter might find a lap to sit on. That way they’re always in reach if you find a matt during your daily scheduled pettings ;)
