   I myself am dying with lung cancer which I will not have treated to extend my 80 year old life. HOW I WISH THAT US HUMANS COULD BE TREATED LIKE WE TREAT OUR PETS AND PUT THEM TO SLEEP SO THAT THEY FEEL NO PAIN!! Why make a kitten/cat/any pet go thru the pain of treatment?? A good vet will give two shots, one to make the animal sleep, the next to stop the heart. You should be able to hold your pet while this is being done and you don’t have to be afraid to cry your eyes out while doing this. YES, I JUST LOST MY 17 YEAR OLD “TARA” in April and I have tears in my eyes while typing this!!!!!!!!!!

   See if you can borrow a “have a heart” trap from your local shelter—may require a donation, which we all should do anyway. My local shelter collects bottles & cans for refund to provide money for emergency medical care for both dogs and cats. It is a no kill shelter except when required by state law (dogs). DON’T FORGET TO RETURN THE TRAP!

   The term is “NEUTER”! To sterilize would be putting in boiling water for a length of time—THIS IS A NO-NO!!
