I am not sure that lack of resistance has had any better result and the big question is, if there was a resistance movement against Hamas would the free world support it. I agree that once in power, dictatorships are hard to dislodge but they tend to not work out for their citizens in Gaza, Russia, North Korea etc.

The Palestinians had to have known about Hamas hiding behind and under hospitals, schools, mosques and residences, and yet they did nothing on their own to expel them or to ask for help in expelling them from Gaza. In my example, if the protesters knew that a dangerous criminal or terrorist was hiding in their group it wouldn’t damage their free speech to point that person out to the authorities. The Palestinians seem to have allowed Hamas to take over and to attack Israel and that has cost them far too much. The US have generally stood up to home grown terrorists and must continue to do that at home and possibly abroad or the US will be subjected to more terrorist attacks like 9/11.

If there was a baby killer hiding among the students and they were protecting him what would your position be regarding police presence? Now look at what the Palestinians allowed Hamas to do to Gaza.

I posted this on Ted Call – There is no easy solution but if Israel could move women and small children out of Gaza in a safe encampment on Israeli territory and if they could apply international law and peace keepers on the West Bank. The free world would have difficulty not supporting Israel’s attempts to eliminate a terrorist organization, considering that Palestinians allowed Hamas to lead them and to hide behind hospitals, mosques and children.

Biden made some great jokes about Sleepy Don at the Correspondents Dinner

I have seen and heard both Biden and Trump speak and unfortunately Biden may have some senior memory problems but Trump is often in total La La Land. Revolutionary armies capturing airports in 1776, drinking Chlorox and shooting lasers up your butt, claiming ridiculous victories on the golf courses etc. are not comparable with minor memory issues.Actually Trump and his supporters are claiming that Biden is the evil mastermind behind the Justice Department and the States’ Criminal systems setting up Trump for his multiple felonies. It must be hard to be a mastermind and senile at the same time.

I read that Biden has arthritis and neuropathy, which cause his gait.

Most people are decent, honest and fair minded, that includes Palestinians and Israelis. However the media, the protestors focus on the extremists and the terrorists. The Palestinians made enormous errors in allowing a terrorist organization (Hamas) to both govern them and to hide behind their women, children and hospitalized citizens. Israel has a right to exist, but it appears to have allowed an extreme form of Zionism where settlers were able to attack and even kill some Palestinians without reprisal or the rule of law purely to expand territory in the West Bank. These terrorists and extremists have put both the Jewish state and the Palestinian Territory into a terrible situation. My Jewish friends and those who I’ve always admired of Arts, Entertainment and Science are some of the most intelligent people on this planet. Hopefully someone will figure a way out of this mess soon.

There are lots of opinions by non-scientific people available through social media and the web, but there is also a lot of actual data that should convince reasonable people that the pandemic was real and devastating. Someone recently stated that the data from Texas supported the vaccine effort as the densely populated cities with higher vaccination rates suffered less than the rural areas with low vaccination rates. I don’t know if this is indeed true but it is quite likely due to facts from many other sources about vaccination rates and sickness. The conspiracy theories make no sense whatever because there would have to be hundreds of thousands of scientists, medical practitioners, government employees and politicians all working together and that is extremely unlikely.
