LOL, our conversation reminds me of the one Tom Hanks and Ros Malinger put on for Ria Wilson had over the Dirty Dozen. Only difference was the reason for it.
You’d have to be crazy to WANT to go, no sane person willingly puts their life at risk. What sets them apart is that when needed they DID go and because they did, we aren’t speaking German today living in the Third Reiche. That’s why I have nothing but respect for them and shame for the disregard for what they did on display today.
POOR YOU! 63 would be like living in a freezer to me. Of course, if you tried to live here, you’d feel like you lived in a steel plant on max output.. LOL It’s all relative I suppose.
You and those like you are not the ones I was speaking to. Read my comment again. I was extremely proud of that man. I’m extremely proud of anyone that puts on a uniform in service to the people of this once great nation. It’s the thanklessness, me first, narcissistic attitudes brought about by complete ignorance and apathy caused by the weaponization of the educational system by the left that shames me. I’m a vet also for what it may be worth. Not much if the news is any indication. Hell, read the comment right above this one, “Fat Orange Clown” MAGA bad, Socialists Good. The guy is utterly blind to reality. He probably never heard of Stalin, or if he did it was not the real story.
Not your fault, but this is how we got to the point our country is such a mess. They no longer teach what made us great, the sacrifices freedom involves, the value of having it in the first place. I shook hands yesterday with a man who earned not one but TWO Bronze Stars serving in our army and thanked him for his service. I walked away embarrassed that he gave so much to a country that could not care much less that he had done so. Now it’s all “evil is good and good is evil.” I’m 65 and I can honestly say I’ll be glad when God is done with me here and takes me home. I want out of this asylum.
Oh come now, this has been one of the most moving stories I’ve ever read.
