I’ve always been nervous about getting diabetes as I eat a TON of sugar (I can only stand coffee if I put in 1/8 cup of sugar for a 6-8 oz coffee)… I thought one could eat so much sugar it destroys the pancreas ability to create enough insulin?
It drives me crazy on Chopped when the judges complain that a dessert is too sweet. Hello? It’s DESSERT. They never say “It’s too savory” for an entree! (I love it when an entree has a sweet sauce).
Thankfully, this takes place long before TikTok, cellphones, and internet…
