I admire that you made some from scratch AND from memory! That cannot have been easy, especially doing the filling AND the doughy outside! (And to make something major while depressed – a special kudos!)

I went back to find your comment again just to say I thought it was brilliant.

I think being a Sunday strip it’s back to “normal” for one day – ie this is really Miles.

Think of this as a comic book, people. Or wait for the published compilations- which I usually prefer to online strips. But, they aren’t free….

(Like buying the video set instead of watching the tv episode each week – bingeing helps with memory.)

    This is Kevin.

See my comment above about thinking of this as a comic book.

If this were in a comic book, each strip would fit on maybe half a page, and even in a 32 page comic that’d be over two months of strips. The arc wouldn’t seem long in such a format. We should all think of this as a comic book and not one panel gags, and just enjoy it.

If the complaint is about the cartoonist’s date, this was published in 2008 or so, so the date may have been very different than in 2024?

I was upset to find out this month that a bakery in the town to the north of us closed – no more chocolate rum balls (unless I visit the German bakery in Indianapolis). :(

Plus Thursday we found out our favorite winery with its award-winning strawberry wine had closed December 31. :(
