   Since she is Canadian and this comic strip is set in Ontario, it is not strange or unknown why the characters “appear” Canadian. Contrary to popular opinion, most Americans are smart enough to understand that. I don’t know why you even read this comic.

   My three current fur babies are Sassy, Cookie, and Candy. My granddaughter found Sassy online. In the picture she was hissing at the photographer. I said she looked like a sassy one. And so she has proven to be. The other two are calico sisters who I originally named Chocolate Chip and Butterscotch because of their coloring. But those names were too long for two little girls who required a lot of correction, so they became Cookie and Candy.

   I think it’s technically an adjective. We used to call that gizmo the remote controller or just remote control. And then we shortened it some more.
