   Stray( no id) unneutered male lost while lookingfor a female, had a new baby, no time, kids lost interest, divorce, moving, new job, new boyfriend/girlfriend does not like the animal, barks, scratches furniture, too much work, lost housing, lost job, can no longer afford, death of owner, owner has to go to a nursing home, and the list goes on. People can be real idiots, but sometimes people end up in dire straits and do their best.

   Unfortunately I have experienced both. And losing a beloved dog rips my heart out. But every time I have grieved and cried,and savor the memories, I get another dog. I cannot get another daughter.

   My dogs love apples! I cut the apples into small bites though. They also love carrots.

    Being good with children does not mean you put up with that Fred. The adults needs to teach that kid proper behavior. The next dog he tries that with might not be as tolerant as you are.
