Maybe it was stuck somewhere else and became unstuck by being teleported away from the place where it was stuck? I’m not sure why a manual would be stored in a near-vacuum, but then again, unicorn.
From what I can tell, they don’t like some of the more unusual Unicode here. Recently, I wanted to use Unicode’s “fancy” Latin characters (codes somewhere around 1D4xy) to allow for proper pronunciation of the Shield of ℬoringness and I couldn’t submit it either. (ℬ is less exotic because it’s in the Letterlike Symbols block.)
It’s a sort of Shield of ℬoringness (excuse the mispronunciation), but non-magical. Unicorns (and common orns) in the unicorn’s world are used to the splendour of unshielded unicorns, so someone as “boring” as a mere human doesn’t usually even register to them.
I think the distinction between “magic curse” and “magical curse” is important here – I think it’s not meant that it’s a curse that is magical, but that it’s a curse that affects a unicorn’s magic.
I prefer the idea that she’s acting most of the time, but this once, when acting out of the ordinary won’t affect her reputation, she can be honest.
