I remember when Chrysler meant luxury instead of K-Car Krappy.

    That’s not new or exciting.

Love the sound of rain on a tent or even a camper roof.

It’s like a video challenge but play is not stopped for it until/unless the VAR makes a call. Soccer is a game that is supposed to flow, that is why there are no time outs, and with injuries they only stop long enough to do a quick assessment and they have to leave the field with no replacement unless you want to use one of your three substitutions. Once a player has been substituted he can’t return.

As a college referee for 20 years beginning in my mid 30’s, we had to pass on the field physical fitness tests every summer before the season started. 2 mile run on grass, sprints and agility runs. All graded by times. We needed a doctor’s release each year. I can remember only 1 person that had a heart attack which if you think about it, 75 or so old guys over 20 years is a pretty good result. Now 11 years after I retired, I am still reaping the benefits of those years of training.

That was in ’66. She traded up to a muscle car in ’72. One of my fraternity brothers had a ’64 GTO and it was real fine.

Smoked chili is one thing but grease fire chili is a hard pass. Or maybe an easy pass if you eat it.

Typed paper licenses until the mid ’70’s.
