I often think about feeding my dog the cat food because it is cheaper. Which makes no sense because cat food is higher in protein, which is costlier than the non-proteins. I have heard that the dog food is more expensive because studies have shown that people will spend more on their dog than on their cat, but I don’t know if that’s true. I will say that if you’re feeding cat food to the dog, you should cut it with something else—maybe rice or veggies. And the companies have done a lot of research on the proper mixtures (and how to get them in the cheapest way—Hah!) so you’d probably have to do a lot of work to get it right.

I am so sorry for your loss of your baby brother Blair. :( My baby sister is medicare age and I think it would kill me if I lost her.

To be fair, Sophie has been as oblivious of actual Wesley as he has been of her.

Well, my dog Ming slept with my partner (who had moved downstairs when he got cancer), and maybe a year after partner died Ming started sleeping with me. So I started wondering if that meant I had some undiagnosed cancer or something. But I don’t take it seriously. Just be glad you have an attentive Angel. And be mindful of the ankle support—for it can be treacherous!

I missed whatever the kerfluffle was yesterday, but I admire the apology! Purrs and head bumps.

It looks like she’s beginning to process Wesley’s cheesiness.

My sister and I exchange emails every single day. If I haven’t sent her an “entertaining email” by noon, she’ll be emailing asking if I’m deadinnaditch. I am not supposed to worry about her for at least a day, because she lives with a husband. I’m a grumpy antisocial person, but I should try to be more grateful for having a good sister.
In the absence of good family, does your town have a social worker? You could set up a system where if they don’t hear from you for a day? two? three? they could order a wellness check.
That was my “You made me laugh aloud” Like. :)
