I’m counting the holidays when people make their special occasion dishes. Really, it’s the total for the day. This Thanksgiving we had a regular breakfast Th. meal then some leftover veggie dish for dinner. Think weekly or monthly food total (unless you’re a diabetic). Basically don’t blame the one big meal for weight gain.
It wouldn’t matter in the long run. If you assume 20 food holidays (that’s excessive eating all day which doesn’t happen) a year, that would be 5% of the year. If you’re careful the other 95% you’d be just fine.
The first year of every administration is actually the last year of the previous. Like a new collage coach. Their first year are the decisions of the last coach. During the first year of Biden a friend complained his taxes went up. It was because of the temporary tax break of Trump, not new taxes. His response was “Yea well, just you wait they’ll go up again”.
