Creating art is not bad behavior. We had a little gallery in the bathroom when the kids were little. They brought crayons when it was time to sit on the toilette. Didn’t even paint it over when we moved.

All I have to do is wiggle my butt to get my friend to move. They know they can count on getting a treat on the way back to the sofa.

i can relate. Allergic to many trees, including pine. Switched to a Christmas tree quilt that I made about forty years ago. Glad you switched to artificial foryour son.

About 40 years ago I made a Christmas tree quilt. Hang it on the wall, pin lights and decorations to it. When I finally take it down…could take months…I rinse off the dust and return it to the shelf. I started this because I’m allergic to trees and dust. Works much better for me.

I can’t use real or artificial trees because of allergies; so several decades ago, I made a Christmas tree quilt that I can pill decorations and lights to. I clean it after the season and seal it away from dust to take out the next year. Works really well.

That’s why I have been serving ground turkey nachos for Thanksgiving. That, and the grandkids love em.

At our house the rule is “keep the comfort dog comfortable.” Totally necessary for her to do her job properly.
