   @dflak not true. The approximate minimum value of the total outstanding shares of stock in a given compny is its liquidation value. That is the total amount of cash you could raise by selling everything that the company owns including realestate, inventory, furniture, etc. Market value minus liquidation value represents approximately the net present value how much profit people believe the company will make in the future. This is the part that depends on the opinions of fools. If/when market value goes below liquidation value, then someone will buy all the shares and liquidate the company.

   I agree with everything about the need to fully understand the issues you are protesting. But a lot of the comments here about how the parents pay so it doesn’t affect the kids, and that 30% is a “small” increase reflect people who had a comfortable-to-affluent childhood. For families that are already having to decide between buying food versus paying the rent, where the teens are working after school and doing homework at midnight, families teetering on the edge of homelessness, a 30% increase is not small.

   how do those people get behind their desks? There’s no room to squeeze between the desk and the divider. maybe they are dropped into place with a crane on their first day on the job and then never leave.

   Amazing how the technology has progressed so little that the 1993 artwork is entirely believable today.

   Dont know if this is all of Canada or just the Maritimes but if you ask for a napkin in a restaurant everyone gets really embarassed, especially if you brought a baby with you. Napkins are used by babies and menstruating women, polite people in a restaurant ask for a serviette.
