I live in Kalgoorlie, small town a 6-8 hour train ride from Perth. The hole is the Superpit, a mining location. It was the world’s largest open-cut gold mine till another Western Australia mine too the title in 2016. And someday it’s going to swallow this town! LOL!

We call our online family, our family of the heart :) I still have family of the heart that I met in the 90’s on QLink!

I miss outlet stores :( I keep telling the Council here that it’s a perfect place for one in the town I live in! Lots of land, people who want jobs, and it’d bring in tourists more than that bloody hole in the ground!

Boober the Fraggle has all lost socks. He constantly washes them, but have you ever seen a Fraggle wearing socks???

We’ve seen a lot of her movies, she’s one who we’ll watch in almost anything… long as it passes the Does the Dog Die test :)

My knee/hip surgeon recommended my shoulder surgeon. My GP chose my Neuro-Orthopaedic specialist for my spinal stenosis surgery next year. My knee/hip surgeon retired from operating, but I’ll ask him for knee and/or hip surgeon recommendations for my left hip and the redoing of my left knee (Not his fault, it was done in Phoenix). Yeah, I have a lot of specialists, for my freaking body that’s trying to kill me sigh

Sorry :) My husband is a major Marvel and DC fan, so I see and hear this all the time (I’m 63 and he’s 17 years younger). Truly, it’s hard to avoid most of the people in the superhero movies

Hubs and I actually like taking the AM flight from our town to Perth. Usually our hotel gets us into our room early :) And then the afternoon flight back home. We usually have 4-5 hours to kill. I make sandwiches at the hotel, along with snacks, bottles of water and Coke Zero. Never ever buying a dang muffin on a plane again!

Anyways, we actually enjoy relaxing in the terminal while waiting for our plane to board. We take advantage of the airport free wi-fi, I usually have a book or two, and he plays games on his Switch or phone or he naps. I won’t open my laptop bag till we’re home. Time really does go faster that way :) We get to board first because of my disabilities. Same disabilities mean we’re last off, but don’t mind :) I have an audio book I’m listening to that I’ll play on the plane out if now done by then!
