I’m reminded of an old SNL skit where it was announced that a reply had been received from outer space when a recording of earth sounds was discovered…

It translated as: “Send more Chuck Berry”!

Pertinently, Is Destry an active participant in this, or have his control circuits & subroutines been taken over by the UFO?

I know how you feel, Burt!!!

I once had to explain to a C-level executive why scheduling emergency network outages is not particularly feasible…

    Hi!!!

I’m still around and following BCN faithfully, just haven’t been posting much… Much travel lately; been hitting thrift stores & estate sales in a 150-mile radius, as Girlfriend buys up stock for her Depression-glass resale business. There’s some great scenery, fun roads, and neat towns in the 4 Corners!

How would you describe a graceful chicken crossing the road?

    Poultry in motion.

Iced tea is a year-round staple in my household; I do drink hot tea as well (prefer Lapsang Souchon), but prefer iced tea to any other cold soft drink.

I understand that there are non-American purists for whom the idea of iced tea is enough to induce apoplectic indignation; to them, I would invoke the concept de gustibus non disputandum est.
