I hope the prep isn’t too unpleasant. It’s good you have a friend who can drive you to the hospital at such an early hour, and will be able to take you home once the ordeal is over.
So do I, but I rarely use it. Almost all of the calls I get are scammers, so I usually keep it unplugged. If any of my real friends want to get in touch, they can leave me a message at WhatsApp.
I just found this at the UCDA website: The abacus, also called a counting frame, is a calculating tool that was in use in the ancient Near East, Europe, China, and Russia, centuries before the adoption of the written Hindu–Arabic numeral system. The exact origin of the abacus is still unknown. Today, abacuses are often constructed as a bamboo frame with beads sliding on wires, but originally they were beans or stones moved in grooves of sand or on tablets of wood, stone, or metal.
KIt also depends on the nature of the pun!
